Once upon a time, in a cottage deep in the woods, lived a family of three bears - a large Papa Bear, a medium-sized Mama Bear, and a tiny Baby Bear.
One morning, Mama Bear made a pot of porridge for breakfast, but it was far too hot to eat right away. So the three bears decided to go for a walk in the woods while their porridge cooled down.
While they were out, a curious little girl named Goldilocks was wandering through the forest and stumbled upon the bears' cozy cottage. She knocked, but nobody answered, so she gently pushed the door open and stepped inside.
On the table, she found three bowls of porridge. She tried the first bowl - much too hot! She tried the second - far too cold! But the third bowl was just right, and she happily ate it all up.
Next, she noticed three chairs in the cozy living room. The first was too hard, the second too soft, but the third felt just right - though she sat down so eagerly that it broke into pieces beneath her!
Feeling tired after her little adventure, Goldilocks went upstairs and found three beds. The first was too hard, the second too soft, but the third was just right, and she fell fast asleep almost instantly.
Soon, the three bears returned home and immediately noticed something was wrong. "Someone's been eating my porridge!" said Papa Bear in his big, booming voice. "Someone's been sitting in my chair!" said Mama Bear. "Someone's been sleeping in my bed - and she's still there!" squeaked Baby Bear.
Startled awake by their voices, Goldilocks jumped up in fright, ran down the stairs, out the front door, and disappeared into the forest as fast as her legs could carry her, never to return to the three bears' cottage again.
